Assistant Store Manager - St. Pete

A La Segunda Café Manager performs both food preparation, customer service duties and leads through accountability, efficiency, and delegation. Food preparation duties include making coffee drinks and food items for the guests. Customer service duties include greeting customers, taking the orders, and acting as a liaison between the customer needs and the employee’s abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand all areas within the facility for support or coaching
  • Monitor, counsel, and coach quality of items, speed of delivery, accuracy of orders, reduction of waste, efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  • Basic understanding of computers
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and interact with all departments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage time, set priorities, document results, and complete all company reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to conduct standards consistent with those of the company that reflect professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
  • Order products from vendors
  • Handle guest opportunities that may arise
  • Motivate employees
  • Fill and transport catering orders
  • These duties are some, however, they are not all inclusive.

Requirements:

  • Must be extremely reliable.
  • Average of 50 hours per week.
  • Requires prior experience as a supervisor
  • Requires use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanner/copiers.
  • Tasks require standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing steps and or ladders.
  • Tasks require the use of hands and arms, reaching and repetitive motion.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

  • Able to lift 25+ lbs
  • Able to provide great customer service and treat each guest with respect
  • Clean & maintain the store during down time.

Preferred candidates will have some of the following experience:

  • 1-2 or more years’ experience in Restaurant Supervising & Management.
  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Supervising/Management: 1-2 years (Required)

Pay Frequency:

  • Weekly pay on Wednesdays
  • $40,000 per year
